The Tampa Bay Auburn Club Board of Directors is comprised of 13 elected positions: the Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) and 9 Board Members. The TBAC Executive Board and Board Members are all voting positions.
There are nine Board Member positions, composed of three-year terms, staggered so that three positions are up for election each year. Board Members must be active members of the Auburn Alumni Association.
Board members can expect an average time commitment of 30 minutes per week, with most of the time commitment occurring around significant TBAC events, especially the one you choose to help lead. As Board Member is a voting position, Board Members are required to attend at least 50% of the yearly TBAC Board Meetings, but strongly encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible. TBAC is exploring possible options and hopes to be able to accommodate remote attendance options as soon as the 2018 Term.
As part of their responsibilities, Board Members will serve as the Chair or Co-Chair of one TBAC Event or Committee (Shrimp Boil, Watch Parties, Gold Tournament, Back-to-School, Social Media, Scholarship, Young Alumni) and assist with other events as necessary.
If you have questions about the position of Board Member or any other involvement in the Tampa Bay Auburn Club, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or attend any of our TBAC events!
