President of the Tampa Bay Auburn Club is an annually elected position, with a maximum term of two consecutive years. The President is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the TBAC as well as managing the overall direction of the Club and acting as liaison to the Auburn Alumni Association. The President must be an active member of the Auburn Alumni Association.
President will be the most substantial time commitment, requiring an average of 1-2 hours per week, and upwards of 5-10 hours during weeks when significant TBAC events are being held. The President works closely with members of the Executive Board (Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary) to ensure that the many events planned and hosted by TBAC, such as the Shrimp Boil, the Watch Parties, and the Annual Back-to-School event run as smoothly as possible. More broadly, the President is responsible for ensuring that the TBAC remains true to the twin aims of its mission statement, to foster the Auburn Spirit throughout Tampa Bay, and to send top Tampa Bay students to Auburn University.
The President also oversees TBAC’s various committees, appoints the committee heads, and can create committees as necessary to respond to the immediate needs of the TBAC.

Vice President of the Tampa Bay Auburn Alumni Club is an annually elected position, with a maximum term of two consecutive years.
The Vice President’s responsibilities include assisting the President with all presidential responsibilities, and ensuring that all Officers, Board Members, and Committees are effectively performing their respective duties. Additionally, the Vice President is responsible for ensuring that the TBAC is in compliance with the Bylaws, including attendance requirements.
The Vice President works closely with the President to assist in all aspects of running the TBAC, and should be prepared to fill in for the President if and when necessary. The Vice President will conduct TBAC meetings in the President’s absence. The time commitment for Vice President will vary, the Vice President can expect to spend, on average, at least 1 hour per week fulfilling vice presidential duties.

Secretary of the Tampa Bay Auburn Club is an annually elected position. The Secretary is responsible for recording the minutes of each TBAC meeting, or delegating minute-taking for any meeting they are unable to attend.
The Secretary will also work closely with the Executive Board to support any and all TBAC events and general needs of the Board. The Secretary is responsible for managing all TBAC files, and will oversee the collection of transition materials between outgoing and incoming Board Positions.

Treasurer of the Tampa Bay Auburn Club is an annually elected position. Serving as Treasurer requires an individual willing to dedicate time each week to managing the accounts and finances of the TBAC. The Treasurer will work closely with the members of the TBAC Executive Board to ensure that the TBAC finances are well-organized, and TBAC events are managed and funded appropriately.
The Treasurer has a number of responsibilities on a yearly and monthly basis. As the TBAC has officially obtained 501(c)(3) status, the Treasurer must ensure that all filings are accurately and timely submitted to organizations including the IRS, the State of Florida, and the Department of Agriculture. Additionally, the Treasurer is responsible for issuing tax receipts on a yearly basis, which may include making a determination as to the tax status of each item, as necessary. The Treasurer must also create Monthly Treasurer Reports to be maintained for record-keeping purposes, and submitted to the Board for review monthly or upon request.
Generally speaking, the Treasurer issues checks and makes deposits for the TBAC as well as overseeing the financial aspects of all TBAC events.
